Sara’s passion for baking was ignited during her childhood, as she fondly recalls assisting her father in regular home baking endeavors, an experience she cherished for its inherent enjoyment. Her professional journey in the culinary world commenced approximately 15 years ago, when she embarked on a career as a cake decorator in a bakery, dedicating four years to honing her craft in this role.

Driven by an unwavering commitment to expand her skill set, Sara made a pivotal decision to delve into the art of baking. Over the course of three more years, she adeptly balanced both baking and cake decorating responsibilities. Her enthusiasm for continuous growth led to a well-deserved promotion to the role of bakery manager, where she efficiently managed bakery operations across two distinct companies.

In her quest to further enhance her bakery knowledge and expertise, Sara seized a valuable opportunity to join Janey Lou’s as a bakery technician. Her professional journey demonstrates a steadfast dedication to mastering the art and science of baking.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Sara finds solace and enjoyment in the great outdoors, dedicating quality time to activities like playing with her 100-pound dog, as well as cherishing moments spent with her husband and son.
